Happy Valentine’s Day…With Feeding!

Well, I guess I have a sick sense of humor…I present to you…my bleeding heart for Valentine’s Day!

I’ve decided to release a collection of my horror/sci-fi short stories and novellas as a Valentine’s Day present to myself this year.

Maybe it’s because I’m single for the first Valentine’s Day in a very long time, living at home with my family for a while—or maybe it’s because I just wanted to finally have some of these stories I’ve been working on see the light of day.

My short stories are what I use to ‘feel out’ an idea before I write a novel, and they’re usually what I do when I’m in between a novel or screenplay.

You’ll see elements I’ve used in my novels in their infancy in these short stories, and I’ve already turned a few of these tales into screenplays as well.

Some people write film treatments…I write short stories, and sometimes they just grow to be a novella length because I just can’t quit the tale.

These stories have both heart and gore, love and loss, and I tried to experiment with taking you across the whole arc of emotions in a shorter-length tale.

This will probably be the first of many shorter-tale anthology books to come, but I hope you’ll take a chance on this book of stories and enjoy this Valentine’s Day, whether you’re single during COVID like me, or enjoying the love of your sweetie.

Love and Wellness to You,

Steph
