New Books Coming Soon

Happy November, my dear readers! :-)

Yes, this is my birthday month, and the present I'm giving myself is to finish BOTH of my new novels and have them ready to publish.

October was a busy month full of lots of proofreading on both Here and Feeding, and I've been working both manuscripts over for final tweaks and improvements. I finish reading one, then read the other, then repeat this process as much as I can. At a certain point, I don't find anything I want to change anymore...and then you know it's done!

Like baking...but baking a story to perfection!

The covers for both novels are in the works, and I should have good cover reveal news as soon as they're back from my awesome cover artist, Ida.

In the meantime, I've been also writing more on my screenwriting projects, and turned my novel Darkness into a screenplay last month for fun. That makes two novel adaptations done now, as Wilderness was the guinea pig for the first feature film. I'm also doing a TV series based on Perfect, and did some spec TV episodes based on New Caviar and George and Linda Go For A Spin.

The screenwriting is turning out to be a really exciting new medium to write in, and I'm planning on entering some of the finished scripts in competitions this coming Spring.

On the subject of Wilderness, I've decided to re-edit the whole novel, and it will be re-released in the New Year for Amazon. It was my first novel in 15 years, and during the screenplay process, I came up with some new changes for the story that I want to incorporate into the novel too. Look for the updated Wilderness in early 2021!

On the van front, we had a fall trip planned to the Wallowas to look for wolves, but Henry and I's dream of hearing wolf song died on the I-84 freeway - when a wiring error by the engine conversion place left us stranded on the side of the road. He had to be towed to our faithful mechanic, Jonathan, who fixed all the errors done by The Shop That Will Not Be Named.

Then Disaster Struck!

We got back on the road for one last trip last week, a nice overnight to Odell Lake. I'll have pictures uploaded to my Instagram soon - a beautiful fall sunset, and now everything's working great!

That's it for now, but I'll have more updates later this month as the covers for Here and Feeding are revealed!

Thanks as always for reading, and wishing you health and happiness.

Cheers,

Steph :-)
